A Valentine for Madelynn

Happy Saturday Everyone!!
I have a Valentine for Madelynn this week!!! I used the Madelynn'e Twinkling Tuesday Sketch MTTSC7 for my card. I turned the sketch on it's side and created my card that way. I had a lot of fun making this card! I love Pink Cat Studio stamps and
Lily is my favorite!! I apologize if these pictures aren't very good. I seemed to be having trouble doing that today as well.

I used some great Valentine paper from Cloud 9 and Lily the Fairy digi image (soon to be a stamp, so stay tuned)!! I colored her with my Copics and used a Quickie glue pen to apply Prsma glitter to her image. I started out layering my cardstock onto my base card with patterned paper on top. I used 3 heart doilies on the center of the card. One pink, red and white. I adhered Lily onto the center one with pop dots to give some dimension. I used some gems because Lily has to have her bling!! I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner using the new Lily and Billy Sweethearts set. I tied pink ribbon in a bow and then I adhered the pretty red bow with the pearl heart in the center. So pretty!!

I love Lily and lacy doilies! I already had this started before I got my Lilly and Billy Sweethearts stamps. That's why I used Lily the Valentine Fairy.

I hope you like my Lily Valentine! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Be sure that you come back tomorrow to see that else I've been up to.

Recipe:
Paper: Cloud 9 dp, Bazzill cs
Stamps: Digi Image Lily the Fairy- Pink Cat Studio
Other: Copics, doilies, Martha Stewart ribbon, pearl heart bow, jewels, Hero Arts glitter, Quickie glue pen

(Special Note: I edited this post to include a picture that Melissa from Pink Cat Studios helped me enhance. I couldn't get my software to do the colors correctly and she was able to help me out. She is so sweet!! Thanks, Melissa!!)

A Monkey for Madelynn!

Happy Friday everyone!
I have had a very busy couple of days. The card I'm showing you today is a quick little card that I made for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday sketch challenge MTTSC6. I know this is last week's challenge. I'm trying to catch up!! I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils and OMS with blending stumps.I love Changito. He is so cute!! I used some yummy My Mind's Eye paper for my card. I used stickles glitter around the flower. I hope Madelynn likes it!! I layered lots of Bazzill cardstock on just like the sketch and some May Arts ribbon and dew drops to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Stop by again soon and look at my card for this week's Twinkling Tuesday sketch.

Oh boy, I've been tagged!

Happy Thursday!

Hi everyone. Quick post tonight as I'm trying to catch up on some projects. I'm not exactly sure how this works but here goes. I've been tagged by my good friend Janna . Here are the rules:

The rules are:

1. Navigate to where you keep your pictures; select the 6th folder, and the 6th picture in that folder

2. Post the picture on your blog with an explanation about the picture.

3. Tag 6 others to do the same, and let them know they have been tagged!

Ok, here's my photo:

The story behind this photo is that my daughter, Brittany got a new gown that came with this cute little sleep mask. She decided that she should wear it every night to bed! What a little diva!! My husband and I couldn't believe that she wanted to wear this every night and it made uo laugh every morning when she would get up with this mask on top of her hed. I had to sneak in and take a picture of her sleeping to preserve this precious memory. That is Lovey Bear in her pink robe that she is sleeping with. Lovey's been through a lot!

Okay, I have to pass this on to 6 other fabulous ladies (Sorry ladies!)

1. Michelle

2. Tina

3. Ann

4. Maria

5. Ami

6. Ashley

Hope you have a great night.

What A Day!!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to post and say hi. I was working on my cards last night and went to make a change in my blog roll and I guess I accidentally erased the whole list!!! It just disappeared!! I was sick. All that time and effort putting it in the first time and then it went away :( Oh boy, was I upset!! I have so many challenges laying here to do and cards to make and put on my blog and got nothing done except trying to re-enter my list. So if you were on my list before and you are not there now, I didn't get rid of you on purpose. I had to run errands all day today since I couldn't get out yesterday because of the ice. I am in the process of putting everybody back in.

It was quite a downer to lose all that creative time re-doing my list. Ok I will stop crying about it now!! Just wanted to say hi and let you know what happened. Hope to have some stuff to post tonight or tomorrow for sure.

See you later, Cathy

It's Flutterby Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today is Flutterby Wednesday again. Time to celebrate everything Flutterby!! Be sure that you enter your flutterby creation today for your chance to win Danni's blog candy. Be sure to check her blog for all the details. The drawing will be on Thursday. We'd love to see your creations so if you upload to PCP or SCS be sure to use FBW42.

First, I want to apologize for my photo. I was having technical difficulties! For my card this week I wanted to do something a little different. I did a baby card with Imaginisce paper (love that stuff). I used my paisley Cuttlebug folder for my cardstock to give that pretty texture. My flower and butterfly are Jolee's and my stamps are Imaginisce. I distressed the edges of my little tag and scalloped oval with chalk ink. My little button brads and safety pin are by Making Memories.

Thanks for looking at my blog. I really appreciate you stopping by. Have a great day!!

My First House Mouse!!!

Happy Monday!! I just had to share my very first House Mouse!! I have always loved these little mice, but have always been intimidated by them. I wasn't sure that I could color them to look right. I think I did okay. What do you think?? (Be gentle!) I think they are so cute!

I colored this sweet little mouse with my Prismacolors and OMS. I used Cloud Nine Valentine papers and Bazzill cardstock. The camera is not showing the embossed hearts on the patterned paper, but they are cute!. I used Martha Stewart punches "love" and "hearts" for my sentiment. I used Stickles on the heart for a little sparkle. I'm sorry the carmera is not picking up on the sparkle. One of these days, I will figure this thing out completly. LOL I also managed to make this from the Splitcoast sketch SC212. Yea, I did a sketch challenge!! I'm so proud of myself!

I hope you like my card and I really appreciate you stopping by to take a peek. Please come back and see what I'm up to tomorrow!! Have a great day!

A Simple Baby Welcome

Hi everyone! This will be a quick post. Today is just a simple little welcome baby card that I made a while back, but haven't posted. Sometimes you don't need a lot of embellishment to make a cute, sweet card. I used my Prismacolor pencils and OMS to color in my image. This is an Imaginisce stamp (giraffe). I'm sorry but I cannot remember whose stamps the little images are from. Maybe Stampendous?? The sentiment is an A Muse Artstamp.

I punched out my stamped image with an oval scalloped Marvy Uchida punch and the green mat with my Coluzzle. I ran the green piece through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder for some texture. I popped the giraffe oval and the sentiment up on pop dots for added dimension. I used those cute little button brads from Making Memories on the sentiment block. I attached a strip of brown grosgrain ribbon across the front of the card.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of white cardstock and stamped a little baby bib in the corner and colored it with my Prismas and OMS. So cute and quick!

I hope you like my simple little card and come back soon to see what I'm up to next. I really appreciate you stopping by to look at my work, it means a lot. See you soon!!

Poor Little Sophie!!

Happy Thursday everybody!! Today I'm sharing my Sophie Moose card with you. Everytime I stand on the scales I have the same look on my face . But I'm trying to fix the problem so that is a start!! Hanna Stamps are the cutest stamps with Riley and Sophie Moose, and the Hanna line. They are certainly a must have for your "collection".

The colors on this card are all my favorites. All of the patterned paper is from Die Cuts with a View and is so sparkly and cute, I just want to eat it up!! I colored my Sophie with my copics and kind of "smooshed" the color around a little bit so that it would look like fur. I also added Glossy Accents to the the part of the scale that has the numbers on it. This makes it look like glass. Very cool dimension!!! I cut Sophie and her mat with my nesties and ran the pink one through my Cuttlebug flower folder for pretty embossing. I popped her up on pop dots for dimension. The sentiment is from Penny Black and is just the cutest. I stamped it, cut it out, rounded the corners, matted it and popped it up on pop dots as well. I finished off my card with pink dew drops.

In this picture you can see a little of the shine from the Glossy Accents, so cute! Ok, this is my story and I'm sticking to it!! Think FLUFFY and picture a smaller fluff!!! This was a very fun card to make and I hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back again soon to see what I'm up to, because you never know!!

Another Flutterby Wednesday

Hello everyone, it's Wednesday and we all know that means ; it's Flutterby Wednesday!!

I'm here with my creation for the week but you can play along too. All you have to do is make a card that has a butterfly on it and if you upload it to a gallery at SCS or PCP be sure to use the keyword: FBW41. Don't forget, Danni has blog candy that she will be giving out at the end of the month. Check out the details at Danni's blog. Be sure to check out the fabulous creations the other members of our team have posted by clicking on their links on my sidebar.

My card for the week ended up having a lot of green and purple on it kind of like last week. I think I must be in a purple/green kind of mood or something!! I also managed to use the Mojo Monday Sketch #70. So I actually finished a challenge on time this week!!! Yea !! My card this week has Making Memories paper that I dug out of my scrap stash. My stamps are Great Impressions. I used my Copics a little bit and used my Quickie Glue Pen to apply the Making Memories glitter to my flowers. On the flourish itself, I used the pen and Prisma glitter by Hero Arts. I cut my scalloped pieces with my nestabilities dies. The one little pop of color is on the tiny ladybug at the bottom of the flourish! He's so cute! I used pop dots to pop the sentiment up off the card. It's really hard to capture the glitter in the pictures, but trust me it is very glittery and pretty.

This picture shows a little of the sparkle, but it just doesn't do it justice. I photographed it under light, took it outside in the snow for natural light and everything. It just didn't want to sparkle for you. I love plenty of sparkle and the green/purple color combination. I hope you enjoy it too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here! Come back again tomorrow and see what I'm up to.

Another Lily the Fairy

Hi all! Hope everyone is okay. I wanted to share my second Lily the Fairy card with you. This image is so much fun to use and color! I love Pink Cat Studio stamps and I'm not ashamed to admit it!1 LOL! I love all stamps!! hehe!! I should probably see someone about this obsession - ok I won't. I'll just keep making stuff and sharing it with you!!

Now, onto my card. I colored my Lily the Fairy with my copics and cut her out with my Coluzzle. I know, it's been forever since I used that!! I cut Lily out, then I cut the striped paper into a frame and attached it to the Lily circle. I popped her up on pop dots and used Shimmerz on her wings, wand and flowers to make her extra pretty! I used flowers by Hero Arts and jeweled brads from my stash. The patterned paper is Imaginisce and the cardstock is Bazzill. I used pink tulle to tie a pretty knot through the flower eyelets on top.

This is a closeup showing those beautiful Shimmerz paints. If you haven't tried these, you should treat yourself. They are absolutely beautiful and so easy to use. Look how much shine they put on the flowers!! IRL they are really pretty!

This is the inside of my card. I stamped Pink Cat images on the inside. I used a Memory Box stamp for the sentiment. I love how this card turned out. This is the second of my Lily cards that I entered into the contest. There were some stunning cards in the contest.

I didn't take a picture of the popped up image but it is popped up. I thought three pictures were enough! I hope you enjoy my card and my blog. Be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here. Come back soon and see what else I've been up to. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon!!

It's Anya!!

Hi everyone. I can't believe it. I actually finished a challenge before it was over (close but not over)!! I created this little cutie patootie for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday MTTSC5. Now if I can figure out how to link it to the right place I'll be a happy camper!!LOL!

I just love how this card turned out! Simple but so cute and sweet. I used an Anya digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I love the instant gratification of digi stamps. Don't get me wrong, I love any kind of stamps!! Here she is dressed up like Alice in Wonderland! How cute is that??

I used my copics to color her in. I used patterned paper from Chatterbox and the sentiment is from an October Afternoon set. I used dew drops from The Robin's Nest in each corner (don't you just love those things),

I decorated the inside of the card with the same paper that I used on the front of the card and a piece of white cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here. Come back and see what else I've been up to!

Lily the Fairy

Happy Thursday to you!! Depending on where you live, it's a cold Thursday!! I wanted to share my Lily the Fairy card. I just love this image from Pink Cat Studio!! She is perfect for lots of occasions. My daughter is in love with this little fairy!

For my card I used some beautiful Cloud Nine glittered paper-perfect for a fairy! I colored her with my copics and cut her out with my nesties Label One set. My sentiment was cut from the scalloped round circle nestie. I embossed the blue and purple layers with my Cuttlebug. One is the swiss dots folder and the other is the birds and swirls folder. The flowers are Imaginisce.

And here's a closeup of this little cutie!! IRL her face is not orange, I promise!!

I hope you like her. Thanks for stopping by today to take a look. Please come back and check out my little corner of the crafting world tomorrow!

My Happy Butterfly

Hi everyone. Today is Wednesday and that means that it is Flutterby Wednesday! My card today has a very happy butterfly on it! I decided to make a round card for a change. My daughter wanted me to use this stamp so I inked it up and colored it in with my copics. I used Making Memories paper and really made this cute little guy bling. I love Prisma glitter by Hero Arts. It really shines. It's hard to capture the glittery shine with the camera, but trust me, it is very sparkly. It is also very hard to see the dimension in the photo. I used big pop dots to pop up my butterfly and sentiment. I decided to use tulle at the top of my card instead of ribbon, just to change it up a bit (plus it's pretty)! I used my Scor-Pal to score the top of the card so it would open nicely.

Remember, you can play along too! If you make a butterfly card and upload it to a gallery at SCS or PCP be sure to use the keyword: FBW40. Love my snowman!

Hi everyone,

I hope your new year is going well so far. My sweet daughter shared her upper respiratory infection with me and I am miserable on so many levels. Anyway, I won't bore you with that. I made this card using my Pink Cat Studio Lily and Tweet stamp set. I absolutely adore these stamps!! All of the PCS stamp sets are so cute! You'll be seeing more from this set and my other sets as soon as I feel alive again (lol). The PCS stamps have such a warm, sweet, friendly feel to them and offer great versatility for any occasion. I just love them (can't you tell). If you haven't already, check them out. You can click on the link above or on the cute kitty on my sidebar to see these wonderful stamps.

I colored my image with my copics. I've been practicing with these markers and hopefully I'm getting better, if not, be gentle. I think it turned out pretty well. My dew drops and pink marker look a little loud in the photos, but IRL they match really well. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake and lace doily edge punch on my card.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to watch for the Flutterby Wednesday Designs starting this week.

Supplies:
Stamps: Pink Car Studio- Lily & Tweet Set
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
