You can find this image at the Softpencil Etsy Shop. Don't forget our Softpencil challenge every Saturday at PCP

YNS Challenge #2

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I am a Guest Designer for YNS for the next couple of months and I am loving it!! The team is so talented and easy to with and I love their fabby images!! This week's challenge is a Shape Card Challenge that Lana has for us! The only rule for our challenges is that you use a YNS stamp for your creation. Remember that YNS limited edition digital Halloween stamps are only available until Oct 31st so hop over to the Your Next Stamp Store and pick up your set today! The Starlets cards are really awesome so be sure to check out our challenge blog for some inspiration! Please also stop in on each Starlet and leave them some love!!

Be sure that you stop in and participate!! There are some great prizes over there. If you are looking for the winners of YNS Challenge #1 be sure to check the challenge blog for the list of winners on Thursday.

For my card, I used the Fhiona Loves to Skate set. She comes with lots of little snowflakes, birds, hearts, and a sentiment. She is a cutie!! I cut out a mitten shape for my card and used Basic Grey papers. I used a nestie to cut out my pretty eyelet circle in the center and used ribbon from my stash. I colored my image with copics, popped everything up on pop-dots and used Glossy Accents on my ice to give it that "frozen" shiny look. I also used it on her headband to make it look like plastic. I love these colors and this image is adorable. I'm happy with how this turned out!! I hope you are too!

I have also entered this card in the Creative Creations Challenge. Thank you for visiting my blog today!! I will have another post today so be sure to watch for that. Pleaae also leave me a comment so I know you were here. I'm sorry that I haven't visited as often as usual, but I have been bogged down with some serious piles of work to do. I'm working through it and should be back to a normal visiting schedule very soon.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Be sure to scroll down and see what I made yesterday!! It's a Freebie for you!!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Kind of a quick post this morning. Sankari was our hostess this week. She thought it would be fun to do something a little different and create some tags for our gifts, presents, etc. :) So your challenge is to create at least three tags (they can be the same or different) :). If you would still like to create a card instead of a tag - you could always create a card with a tag in it :)

So I made two tags. One I cut with my nesties, stamped it with my JustRite stamper, popped it up with pop dots, put jewels on it, tied some silver cord to hang with and the other is just a simple mini card tag. For this tag, I used a Great Impressions stamp and colored her with my copics, shimmerz and some yummy Basic Grey paper. I popped her up on pop dots.

Be sure to visit the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas have created. I also have them listed on my sidebar. Again, we'd love for you to play along. Just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Be sure to leave me a comment so I can return the favor! Don't forget to come by tomorrow to see what I have to show you. I have been a busy little bee lately!!

IT'S FREEBIE FRIDAY ON SUNDAY!!

Hello Friends!

I know it's not Friday, but you can still grab this adorable
FREE Image from DIGITAL DELIGHTS to have for your very own! This is Billy with Bat Balloons. Isn't he the cutest! He was quick and fun to color so if you need Halloween cards in a hurry this may just be the image for you. For my card, I was able to enter lots of challenges (yay) which I have listed below. I used the Friday Sketchers #74 for my card. It's a fun sketch and I thought it would work wonderfully with my image and it did!

I simply followed the sketch and used K & Co papers and a Quickutz die for the letters "boo". I used my cuttlebug for some embossed texture and distressed it with black ink. I used cute little spider 3-D stickers because they were cute!! I also machine stitched around all of the elements with my sewing machine. These are the challenges I was able to enter with my card.

2 Red Bananas - use Purple, Black and Orange
Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Use punches or die cuts
ABC - F is for Flying -batty balloon

My Time to Craft - Quick

Papertake Weekly - The Dark Side

Cute Card Thursday - Spookfest

Digital Tuesday - Halloween
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Stitching and Buttons

Don't forget to visit our Delightful Sketches Challenge Blog. We always love to see your work!!You can also visit us at Papercraft Planet or SNR Card Universe. We have prizes and challenges happening in both of those communities too! Don't miss out! Thanks so much for stopping by today. It's always nice to read comments on my cards. For my card I used Maggie and colored her with Copics in Halloween colors. I used K & Co Halloween papers and folded the corners up to expose the backside of the paper and secured it with brads. I cut my other shapes with my nesties and tied ribbon on (gotta have my ribbon). I used Studio G stamps to stamp in the corners of the card. I had so much fun making this card. Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Happy Monday Everyone!!

Today is Christmas Stampin' All Year Long day, which means that we are going to be one more card closer to being done with our cards for this Christmas!! Yay!! I hope you'll play along with us this week. This week our fearless leader Maria has provided us with one of her fabby sketches to use.

For my card today I used this adorable Pink Cat Studio's Digi Stamp. Have you been to Melissa's new Digi Store?? If not you have to check it out!! She has the most adorable images. She has been making cuties out of 'rubbah' for a while and now she's doing some digi's!! I used my nesties to cut out my shapes and I colored my image with my copics. I used a glue pad and a Basic Grey stamp to stamp the pretty snowy flourish in the bottom left corner. I glittered it after I stamped it with the glue pad. IRL it looks really amazing!! My patterned paper is by Best Creation, Inc. and is glittered. I have had the worst time trying to photograph glittered or shimmery stuff lately. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to make it work!!

Be sure to visit the
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas have created. I also have them listed on my sidebar. Again, we'd love for you to play along. Just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. It's Softpencil Thursday!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

You know those weeks that go by in a stressed, super fast blurr?? Well I seem to be having one of those weeks!! I can't believe it's already Thursday. That means it's Softpencil Thursday again and for this week, we have a color challenge. We are also using this image called Michu is Flying on a Broomstick. This image is available at both AiFactory or Softpencil Etsy Shop. I love digi images but I love my rubbah too. So I've gotta break out my Halloween Rubbah and get busy or busier!! LOL

I am loving all the new releases that Elizabeth is making for us and this cute little digi kitty is no exception. I colored my image with copics and used a glue pen and glitter to draw the swirls on the moon and decorate the cute little hat. I love how this turned out. I wasn't sure about drawing the swirls on the moon but I think it turned out cute! I used Pebbles papers and cute little witch hat border by Bazzill. I hope you like it!! Thanks also for stopping by my blog. I love reading your comments, they mean so much!! Have a wonderful day!

Your Next Stamp Challenge

This is my 2nd post for today! Please scroll down for more fun!!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

I hope you are doing well today! Wow what a busy week so far!! I have been truly blessed as I have more wonderful news to share with you!! I have been asked by Karen to be a Guest Designer for October and November for Your Next Stamp. These are the cutest images ever and I am so excited to be a Guest Starlet for the next couple of months.

At Your Next Stamp we are having our very first challenge!!

The challenge is a colour combination!!
PINK & YELLOW!!

We have 1 rule...you must use a YNS image on your entry... so Karen has launched some limited edition DIGI stamps designed by Fhiona for those of you who don't have any YNS stamps yet! They are for sale starting today and are available until the end of the month!
So hop on over to the
Your Next Stamp Store to get yours now so you can enter our great challenge!

My card for the challenge uses the digi ghost image and the Happy Halloween digi sentiment from YNS. It's a very simple card but my pink and yellow is in the ribbons tied on each side of the ghost. I decided to be a little more subtle with my pink and yellow!! I used Reminisce papers, little tiny bat brads from my stash and ribbon from my stash. That's it! Simple but showcases the digi images perfectly!! I hope you like it!

Hop over to the Your Next Stamp blog for all of the details about the challenge and prizes Karen is giving away for our first challenge!!! I hope you'll play along with us and be sure to grab a challenge blinkie and spread the word.

We look forward to seeing your entries!! Good luck! Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!
