It's Preview Day at Clear Dollar Stamps!!

Well, we made it to Friday and apparently into the deep freeze!! Today is the second day for the previews of the February New Releases at Clear Dollar Stamps.
One of the featured sets today is called "
Praying Children" which is illustrated by Wendy Hall (Looby Lou Creations) and being released Feb 1st.

I used my set to make a scene. I cut the front of my card out with my Quickutz die and cut the patterned paper the same to make a pretty frame and adhered them together. I cut the circles out with my nesties. The sentiment comes with this adorable set. I stamped my images and colored them with my copics. I stamped the floor using a floor stamp that I got from Hanna Stamps a while ago. I cut out the window and bed and adhered them flat on the inside of my card (since the front is a window). I used pop dots to adhere my little girl and her bear into the scene. I also used pop dots to adhere my sentiment to the front of my card. I used chalks to make the room look yellow and warm (like she has her light turned on) and in the window to make it look like night time. I also used a glitter pen to put some tiny stars and to color the moon and star. I think I managed to use Bo Bunny paper again!

This set is called "Praying Children" and is a Clear Acrylic Stamp set that will be available from the 1st February at Clear Dollar Stamps.

Happy Wednesday to you!! We're halfway there!!

I can't believe it's already time for Nutty Nutshell's Challenge #8!!! Time flies!! For our challenge this week, we are going to have a recipe challenge!!

The recipe is: use at least 3 layers, ribbon and glitter.

I love this stamp set and this Bo Bunny paper is just the cutest thing!! Those little animals tug at my heart! I have to say that Martha Stewart rocks the punches for sure!!! I used my nesties to cut out the circles and used the sentiment in the stamp set and inked the edges and put cute little heart brads. I colored my image with copics and highlighted with a gel pen. I used the Sunday Sketch and Stamp for my sketch layout. What a great sketch! I'll be using this one again!! They always have the best sketches!

For our Nutshell's Challenge, remember to use ANY line of stamps that we carry in our Nutcrafter's store!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafter's and see our selection of stamps from lots of different companies such as The Greeting Farm, Stampavie, Magnolia, Ladybug & Friends, High Hopes, Buddy Bear and Sarah Kay. You can also get our Nutshells, Harriet Hurst and our Digi Image Pink Frosting - our Breast Cancer Awareness set and the Loved Up set. I'm Baaaack!! Nutshells Challenge #7

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Wow I can't believe it's 2010 already. I'm sorry I've been MIA recently. I had a couple of deaths in my family during the Christmas holidays and I've just been...I don't know. I lost all mojo and didn't really feel like creating anything or blog hopping. I guess I just needed a break. I'm back now and I really appreciate all of my followers (I luv you guys!!) and all the lurkers too! I was a lurker before I started following my favorite blogs and I luv you guys too!! I did make the difficult decision to step down from the Digital Delights Design Team. I want to thank Wendy for the opportunity and thank all of the wonderfully talented ladies on the DT for being so sweet to work with.

Ok, onto business. It's Nutty Nutshell's Wednesday and for Challenge #7 we are doing a color challenge!! These are always fun and sometimes force us to step out of our comfort zone and use colors that we wouldn't normally use. The colors for this challenge are pink and brown. This is a great combination and one I use a lot.

For my card, I used the adorable Nutshell's stamp set called "Loved Up". This is the most adorable set!! It has The bench, a mailbox, letter, the girl, boy and 2 sentiments. This set should be released this Friday so be sure to check out the Nutcrafter's store. The Nutshell's stamps are so sweet and fit so many occasions. They are fun to color and you will love them! I used some really cute flowers and embellies in the centers. I chalked the sentiment and cut it up into pieces and used some pretty brown velvet ruffle ribbon. I colored my images with my copics. This yummy paper is Bo Bunny. My pictures are awful. My photo editing program updated and now it doesn't get the colors right. I'm still working on it though!! Ugh!!

Ok, the prize for this challenge is a Gift Voucher to the Nutcrafter's store!! Yay, I wish I could win this!! You might even be able to use it on this adorable set!!
Remember to use ANY line of stamps that we carry in our Nutcrafter's store!!! That makes it so easy to participate and you have two weeks to do it!! So go over to Nutcrafter's and see our selection of stamps from lots of different companies such as The Greeting Farm, Stampavie, Magnolia, Ladybug & Friends, High Hopes, Buddy Bear and Sarah Kay. You can also get our Nutshells, Harriet Hurst and our Digi Image Pink Frosting - our Breast Cancer Awareness set. You're sure to have something you can use to win yourself this great prize.

I'm entering my card into the Creative Inspirations challenge. My Quickutz die is my new item.

So pick an image and show us your creations. Leave us a comment on the Nutshells blog with a link to your creation not just a link to your blog. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I've missed you and look forward to visiting soon!
