It's Softpencil Thursday!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

You know those weeks that go by in a stressed, super fast blurr?? Well I seem to be having one of those weeks!! I can't believe it's already Thursday. That means it's Softpencil Thursday again and for this week, we have a color challenge. We are also using this image called Michu is Flying on a Broomstick. This image is available at both AiFactory or Softpencil Etsy Shop. I love digi images but I love my rubbah too. So I've gotta break out my Halloween Rubbah and get busy or busier!! LOL

I am loving all the new releases that Elizabeth is making for us and this cute little digi kitty is no exception. I colored my image with copics and used a glue pen and glitter to draw the swirls on the moon and decorate the cute little hat. I love how this turned out. I wasn't sure about drawing the swirls on the moon but I think it turned out cute! I used Pebbles papers and cute little witch hat border by Bazzill. I hope you like it!! Your Next Stamp Challenge

I hope you are doing well today! Wow what a busy week so far!! I have been truly blessed as I have more wonderful news to share with you!! I have been asked by Karen to be a Guest Designer for October and November for Your Next Stamp. These are the cutest images ever and I am so excited to be a Guest Starlet for the next couple of months.

At Your Next Stamp we are having our very first challenge!!

The challenge is a colour combination!!
PINK & YELLOW!!

We have 1 rule...you must use a YNS image on your entry... so Karen has launched some limited edition DIGI stamps designed by Fhiona for those of you who don't have any YNS stamps yet! They are for sale starting today and are available until the end of the month!

My card for the challenge uses the digi ghost image and the Happy Halloween digi sentiment from YNS. It's a very simple card but my pink and yellow is in the ribbons tied on each side of the ghost. I decided to be a little more subtle with my pink and yellow!! I used Reminisce papers, little tiny bat brads from my stash and ribbon from my stash. That's it! Simple but showcases the digi images perfectly!! I hope you like it!

Nutty Nutshells Wednesdays!!!

Happy Wedneaday Everyone!!

I have some exciting news from the Nutshells Blog! We are starting our very own challenges!! They are called Nutty Nutshells Wednesday's and will be held twice a month. We are so excited to bring our challenges to you and we hope that you will play along with us. I will be overseeing the challenge blog and will have a challenge blinkie/badge for you very soon. For my card, I colored Pecan Nut Witch with my copics, used glitter pen on her hair, hat and shoes. I used a white gel pen for accent and ribbon and Heidi Grace paper. I cut out my circle with my nesties.

Monday Morning Good News!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I have the most exciting news to share with you this morning!! Yours truly is the NEWEST member of the DT for DIGITAL DELIGHTS by LOUBY LOU!! I am so excited!! Wendy is the sweetest and her images are super cute!!! I am honored to have been chosen for this team! The other ladies are super talented!!

I have added my new DT badge on my sidebar. I have also added the new Delightful Sketches badge. There is also a new addition to the Digital Delights family. Wendy has added two Tutorial Artists to our little family. So you will be able to find awesome tutorials on our Digital Delights blog. I've added the Tutorial Tuesday badge. Our challenge this week was to use watercolouring on our image. I used my H2O's. I used gold to tip the edges of the rose so it is really beautiful IRL. My camera is not wanting to cooperate! I used Heidi Grace papers, pearl gems, and a new Quickutz embossing folder to make my card. I tied it up with a little piece of ribbon, and all done!! I hope you like my card.
