Sweet Pigtails
Happy Tuesday everyone. Look at this sweet little girl!! She is a digi download from Squigglefly.com. It was so easy to download her, resize and print onto cardstock. I love, love, love her. I paper pieced her dress, purse and shoes (yes I cut out the little tops of her shoes). It was so worth it-how cute. I colored the rest of her with my copics. This My Mind's Eye paper is adorable, I will using a lot of it, I'm sure. I cut out the oval with my nesties and popped her up on pop dots along with the sentiment. I wanted to actually sew on my card, but I was too tired so I "hand sewed" with my pen.
Here's a closeup of this cutie:
I hope you like her as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by.

Just A Quick Card
I wanted to share a quick card that I made a few days ago. I love everything snowmen so this stamp was just too cute. I cut the circle with my nesties and used pop dots to pop the snowman and the circle but the picture doesn't really show that detail very well. I also used my marker to dye the flower to match the darker ink. I hope you enjoy it and are staying warm and safe this Christmas night. Thanks for looking. See you soon.
Supplies:
Stamp: Great Impressions, Inkadinkado, Sugar Nellie (sentiment)
Markers: Tombow
Ink: Versamark, Staz-on, Colorbox
Flower: Prima
Paper: Bazzill Cardstock, My Minds Eye
Other: Nestibilities, Scor-Pal, glitter, Quickie Glue Pen, brad, Glue Dots, Ranger embossing powder, heat tool.

Our School Christmas Party
Like so many of you, today was our school Christmas party. The kids were a little excited (lol) and a little loud, but very cute. Brittany is a 3rd grader and loves school. The kids got to wear their pajamas and she insisted on having pigtails. Apparently, this is proper for a PJ party at school.
The kids got to talk to Santa and have their pictures taken by all of the mommies and daddies that turned out. Brittany had no problem telling Santa that she wanted a Nintendo DS and an American Girl doll. Of course, she had to remind me that she has asked for a DS for 2-3 years now, but hasn't gotten one! I hope Santa packs carefully this year!! We ate breakfast goodies and a good time was had by all. OMG I can't believe Christmas is next week! Can you?
I'm proud that I managed to get a picture onto my blog-my first one:) I still have so much to learn. I can tell it's going to be a work in progress for a little while. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully before the end of the weekend, I'll have a card to post. Keep your fingers crossed.
Bye for now, Cathy

My First Post!!
Okay, I've officially entered the world of blogging. I'm usually just a reader, but now I have my own little corner of cyberspace. Hopefully, I can share some inspiration with you. Papercrafting is my passion. Adorable stamps and patterned paper are my weakness.
I have a 9 yr. old third grader that knows EVERYTHING!! Don't know where she got that?? lol. I have a wonderful husband that I have known and loved most of my life. I am behind on making Christmas gifts--as usual. Every year I say I will be done early this year, but it never happens. Hmmm, sounds like a New Year's resolution...
Since I'm a newbie, please be gentle. I will catch onto this in no time. Just give me a chance and hopefully I can share my passion with you.
