Ginger from InStyle Stamps looks so happy planting her flowers!! To make this card I used some of that yummy paper by My Mind's Eye. I added a couple of buttons, a pretty Martha Stewart punch and you end up with this cute card!! I love these colors, they look so sharp together. Please excuse my pictures. I just couldn't get a good picture =(

Be sure to watch for more InStyle Stamps projects in the near future! I hope you enjoy my card today and be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I have created for Flutterby Wednesday. Have a great day!

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Good Morning!! It's Monday, that means that it is Christmas card day!! At Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, we create Christmas cards every Monday. By the time November arrives, we have a whole bunch of Christmas cards ready to send out!! How much stress will that take out of the holiday season??
Anywhoo, our fearless leader, Maria has created another fabulous sketch for us to use. This will be sketch #10. This was a great sketch and one I will use again for sure.

For my card this week, I used some pretty K&Co. Christmas paper, Doodlebug buttons, Bo Bunny ribbon, Martha Stewart Snow glitter, Inkadinkado sentiment stamp and Great Impressions stamp for the main image. I stitched the patterned paper to my card with my sewing machine. I used a paper piercer to do the piercing and my Copics to color my image. I also used Glossy Accents on the snowman's hat and button for a shiny effect.

This is a very simple card but I think it turned out great. What do you think?
Be sure to visit the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas created. I also have them listed on my sidebar. We'd love for you to play along, just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL.

Thanks for coming by to look at my blog. I hope you enjoy my creations and that they will bring you inspiration. I'll see you tomorrow with more eye candy for you to look at!! Have a wonderful day!!

It's Still Flutterby Wednesday!!

Hi Everyone,

According to my clock it's still Flutterby Wednesday!! This is my second post for today so be sure to scroll down to see both. I hope the rest of my week gets on schedule! I hate when going to the dentist gives you a 2 day migraine. Ugh.

Anyway, I'm trying to get caught up so this week at Flutterby Wednesday we had a sketch challenge courtesy of the lovely and talented Maria Bell. I love Maria, she is so very talented and is one of the sweetest people ever. For super inspiration, visit her blog here.

To celebrate Danni's 50th Flutterby Wednesday post, we have a special guest designer, Catherine St. Clair! And our featured team member this week is Heather! I also have to tell you that this is Ami and Kimmie' s last week. I know, we are sad too, but we can only take on so much, before something has to give. So we wish them well and hope that they will visit us really soon.

Danni is offering blog candy to celebrate her 50th week doing Flutterby Wednesday. So be sure to visit her blog to get all the details. Here's a sneak peek though!!

Here is my card for this week. This is the cutest Penny Black stamp ever!!! I love it and will be using it again soon!! The image is stamped on white cardstock and colored with my copics. To add a little color, I created a scene for our sassy little kitty! I stamped grass and flowers. I colored the flowers and leaves with my copics and chalked the grass and sky around her. She looks like she's lounging in the backyard!! I could hardly keep from laughing while I colored her and her little scene. It really made me smile. I used Bazzill bling, regular Bazzill and Bo Bunny patterned paper. I generated the sentiment on my computer and cut it out with my Nesties. That's about it. I hope this card makes you smile. I want to thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you leave a comment so I know you were here. Hugs to you all!!

Twinkling Tuesday on Wednesday?

Happy Wednesday to you! Today will be a 2-post day so please be sure to check back later for my Flutterby Wednesday card. So Twinkling Tuesday on Wednesday?? You might think this is strange but that's what's going on here today. I apologize if you came to visit yesterday and my card wasn't up. My daughter, Brittany is the Temporary Twinkie and created this wonderful sketch for us to use . I have seen some fabulous creations so I think she created one that we can use over and over again!! She's a chip off the old block you know!!! LOL I hope you enjoyed the sketch and if you haven't played yet, what are you waiting for??

For my card today I stamped Tilda on white cardstock and colored her with my Copics. I used Shimmerz on her wings. They are really pretty IRL. I used my circle nesties to cut her out and a pretty scalloped mat. Then I popped her up on pop dots. I used this yummy new patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers (love this stuff-gorgeous). I used Bo Bunny ribbon and dew drops for accent. I also stamped the sentiment directly onto the ribbon.I hope you like my card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Thanks for playing along with Brittany's sketch. She is very proud of herself (and so is her Mommy)!!! LOL If you play along and upload to PCP or SCS be sure to use the tag MTTSC15. Thanks Jessica and Madelynn for letting us play along this week! Se sure to leave me a comment so I will know you were here.

My Apologies

Hi everyone!!

I just wanted to let you know that my Twinkling Tuesday sketch card will be up on my blog tomorrow. I was at the dentist today and had to make a stop at the allergy Dr. as well. Sorry that I told you I would have it up this afternoon. I just didn't have enough arms and hands to get it done.

Please come back tomorrow and see my creation for Twinkling Tuesday and for Flutterby Wednesday. Should be a good post!! Can't wait to see you there!! Be sure to scroll down for today's post.

Hello Baby!!

Happy Tuesday to you!!!
Wow is there enough pollen in the air?? My car is green, I can't breathe my head has enough sinus pressure to feel like it's going to explode!! I love Spring, but geez it is tough!! The trees are blooming and the daffodils are in full bloom, I even heard a bird chirp yesterday!! Yayyyyy!!

Anywhoo, my card today is a baby congrats card featuring the adorable Jasmine from InStyle Stamps. I wish I looked this good after my daughter was born and I still don't look this good!!! LOL I stamped her on white cardstock using Memento ink and colored her with my copics. I used a corner punch to make the slotted corners and Bazzill flowers folded in half for extra fullness attached with a rhinestone brad. I used Making Memories papers and my sentiment is a Rubber Soul stamp. I used a baby shower party favor around my sentiment.

A very simple card but still cute. I have a short post today, have a dentist appt. Yuck!! I hope you like my card and if you are visiting, please leave me a comment. I love to read your comments and hear what you think! Make sure you come back tomorrow to see my Flutterby Wednesday card. Please, Please come back later to see the Twinkling Tuesday card. Christmas Stamping All Year Long

Happy Monday to you!! I have some exciting news to share today. I'm a Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge Diva!!! Yay!!! Thanks Maria!!

This week is sketch challenge #9. Here is the sketch that Maria has given us.

I decided to flip the sketch to fit the stamp that I wanted to use. Here is my creation:

Please forgive my picture. I just couldn't seem to get a decent picture for some reason!! Ugh!! I bet I took 20 photos trying to get a good picture, but it wouldn't cooperate. Anyway, at least you can see some of the Shimmerz that I added to the snowflakes, hats and scarves of these adorable snowmen!! I used the beautiful My Mind's Eye Christmas paper. The snowman stamp is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps and the sentiment stamp is by Rubber Soul. I colored my image with Copics. I love the colors in this card and those snowmen are too cute!!

I know that making Christmas cards seems so weird right now with all of the beautiful Spring/Summer stamps available, but when November rolls around and you have these cards ready to go, you will be so happy. This will alleviate some of the stress of the holidays, so please play along!! You have to admit, it's always fun to see a cute winter image!!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and sharing my first week on this amazing team. I look forward to seeing what you create!!

Be sure to visit the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas created. We'd love for you to play along, just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL.

I hope you have a great week and I'll see you tomorrow with something else to look at!!

Finding the Date-Suzie Q Style

Happy Friday everyone!!

Today will be a short post. I have so much to do!! EEEEKKK!! I wanted to share this little pocket planner that I made with Suzie Q from InStyle Stamps. This makes a really cute gift or keep it for yourself to keep yourself organized while doing all that shopping!! I stamped Suzie Q on white cardstock and colored her in with Copics. I mounted her onto October Afternoon DP. I cut the year out with my Quickutz.

I took the sample cover out of the calendar and traced it onto patterned paper. I cut it out, put it all together and inserted into the calendar clear plastic cover. You can decorate the rest of the inside if you want or you can leave it blank to fill up with all of those important dates and shopping trips. I believe the calendar is made by Creative Imaginations but I will check to be sure.

This is a fun, quick project that makes a wonderful gift when paired with a card. I hope your Friday and your weekend are wonderful. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here!! I hope you like my little project! Be sure to come back and visit!!

Inky Impressions 1st Design Team Call

Hi Everyone,

Inky Impressions is looking for their very first DT. I've seen this post everywhere, so I decided to enter myself. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!! It sounds like a lot of fun and the images are sooo cute!! They are exactly my style!! I love to color and create scenes so I thought I would apply. I couldn't decide on 2 so I hope Nicole will fogive me for sending 4 instead.

Thank you for the opportunity to apply. I hope I get selected!! I don't know though, competition is tough!! We'll see, cross your fingers for me, please!!

Happy Thursday!

Happy Thursday everyone!!

I hope your week is going well so far. We're almost at the weekend!!! YAY!!
I have a really cute image for you today from
Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This image is called Cathrine with Butterfly. She is so pretty holding that little butterfly!! She is one of Anki's Sweetheart's line of stamps.

I decided that Cathrine (which is also my name!) was feeling a little purple so I colored her with my copics in pretty shades of purple. I used Shimmerz on the flowers on the dress, butterfly and ribbon on her hat. I attached a cute little flower on her hat with a gem. I highlighted her with a white gel pen. I used this beautiful paper by Anna Griffin and tied ribbon in a knot and put a stickpin by Making Memories through the knot.

I decorated the inside of the card by cutting Cathrine with my nesties and mounted her on a scalloped circle nestie. I also put a flower on her hat. You know sometimes we get caught up in the coloring of the image and we are afraid to crop the image. Don't be afraid to crop the image. Sometimes you can get amazing results by cropping your image. You can also use cropping when you have a boo boo. Maybe your Copic dumped a big blob of ink on your image (this happened to me recently). Don't throw it away. Look at it and see if you can salvage your hard work by cropping the image and using it in another project.

I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope that I have inspired you. When I started my blog, I wasn't sure what I was getting into!! I am so glad that I started my blog and have kept on going. It has enriched my life and those of you that I have met are very important to me and I thank you so much for visiting my blog and being my blog buddies. It's nice to have a group of people that are like sisters that understand the NEED to create and express ourselves through our creativity. I just want to say thanks ladies for making this a wonderful adventure!!

Have a great rest of the day!!

Butterflies and Buttons

Hi all!! It's Flutterby Wednesday and I have another cute card for you. Have you played along yet?? What are you waiting for? Make a card that has a butterfly on it and if you upload it to PCP or SCS use the keyword FBW. That makes it easier for us to find your wonderful creation. This week we used butterflies and buttons on our cards.

I'm pretty sure Danni has some blog candy coming soon, so you might want to check out her blog to get all the details. Be sure that you check out my flutterby sisters to see what beautiful work they have done this week. Their links are on my sidebar.

I've had this stamp for awhile but haven't inked it up. Poor little flutterby!! Well it's been inked now and here's what it looks like.

I love how it looks with this pretty Bo-Bunny paper. I LOVE this paper, so yummy!! I stamped my butterfly on white cardstock with Memento and colored it with my Copics. I also used my glitter pen to give it a little bling. the stamps on the inside of my card are Hero Arts. I also colored part of my flourishes in with my Copics and used my glitter pen. I mounted my stamped image on pink and green cardstock and put cute little tiny buttons in the corners. I tied ribbon around and tied in a knot. Simple but sweet.

I hope you like my card as much as I enjoyed making it. I appreciate you visiting my blog. Please leave me a comment so I'll know you came by!! I'll meet you back here tomorrow for something else cute!! Bye for now!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Hi all!! I hope you are having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day wherever you are! Sorry for the late post, we had some issues this morning getting to school, but everything's fine now.

My card today is a cute little House Mouse. Looks like he found his four leaf clover!!! He's so cute!! I colored him with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS with blending stumps. I also added some glitter pen to the flowers and the four leaf clover for some sparkle. My patterned paper is by Best Creation Inc. and has glittery clovers on it. The clover leaf flowers I had in my stash and the clover confetti is from Michael's.I cut my sentiment out with my nesties and popped it up on pop dots.

I hope you enjoy my card today. I love this image. I think it's so cute!! For the inside, I randomly arranged the confetti in an oval so I could put my sentiment/note in the center.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciate you. Be sure to leave me a comment so I'll know you were here!! See you later!

A Faerie For You!!

Happy Monday to you!!

I hope you are all doing well. I am suffering from the sinus junk that is kicking some serious tail all over the place. My hubby is getting over his and Brittany is trying. I just seem to keep suffering. Uuuuugggggghhhhhh!!!!

Anyway, I wanted to share a card with you today using the beautiful Sassafras from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. Susana has a fabulous store and if you haven't been over there you should put your slippers on and click on over!! Not only does she have a fabulous selection of products, she has a beautiful and unique selection of high quality rubber stamps. Her customer service is wonderful too!! Fast shipping!! That is very important to me because I can't wait to smell fresh rubber in my mailbox!!! Can you??
Here's my card (please excuse the finger in my picture):

Doesn't she make you smile?? I love this image! I used some beautiful Daisy Bucket paper (Love it) and colored Sassafras in with my Copics. I used my Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers folder to emboss my green cardstock and Martha Stewart photo corners and pearls on the corners. I used a sketch from Magnolia-licious. I used my nesties to cut out my image and the scalloped layer.

I chalked around her with blue chalk for emphasis. I used Shimmerz on her wings, socks and flowers in her hair although my camera refuses to show you.

I used my Martha Stewart Heart punch for the inside of my card and another strip of that fabby paper. I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it. Thanks for coming by my blog. It means a lot to me that you took time to visit, so be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here.

Come back tomorrow. I'll have something wonderful for you to see!

Cathrine the Vet

Hi Everyone!

How is everyone?? This will be a quick post today as I have to run but I wanted to share a card that I made using the super sweet stamp Cathrine the Vet. She is one of the new designs by Anki over at Susana's Custom Card Art and Design. If you haven't been to Susana's store, you should finish reading my post and head over there!! She has an awesome array of products! She has a super collection of stamps and all things paper crafting. I love her store and best of all, her shipping is so fast I can't even believe it!!
Ok, for my card today I used the wonderful Cathrine the Vet stamp designed by Anki. Isn't she pretty and that puppy is just so sweet with the little bandaid on his bottom!! I used October Afternoon paper (LOVE IT) and I distressed the edges. I also sponged the edges of my stamped image for a distressed feel. I colored her with my copics and I tied ribbon and used a little safety pin to attach a heart charm at the top.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment and some flourishes in the corners. I colored in some of the flourish with my copics. I love this image. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. See ya soon!! Blogger is being weird so I will be back later to fix the link to Susana's store. You can click on her link in my sidebar to go to her store. Thanks.

Tilda Visits Flutterby Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone!!

It's Flutterby Wednesday and our challenge for this week was to create a card with flowers and butterflies on it. This week I'm so excited that I am the Featured Stamper for this week!! Yay (thanks Danni)! Also this week, we have a wonderful Guest Designer. Drum roll please, our guest designer this week is the lovely and super talented Maria Bell!!! Yay, Maria is so talented and if you haven't been to her blog then you should get some munchies and get comfy!! It's such a warm, cozy place of inspiration.

For this week's card I had to pull out the Basic Grey Porcelain pad (LOVE it) and ink up my brand new Tilda with Bunny (LOVE it) that I just got from Summer at Roses on Paper (thanks Summer). I think this Tilda is just adorable with her little bunny!!

Ok, about my card. I stamped Tilda on white cardstock with Black Memento ink. I colored her with copics and highlighted with a white gel pen. I used Basic Grey Porcelain paper and Bazzill cardstock. This week I thought it would be fun to use some little silver, metal butterflies on my card. I used Prima hydrangeas with brads and spacers. I also used some green lace across my card front. That's really all there is to it. Pretty simple but I like how it turned out!!

I edited my post because I realized that I forgot to put the leaves on my flowers!! I thought I would show both photos since I've already sent Danni my picture for her blog. Sorry about that, I can't seem to remember anything lately!! I used a Martha Stewart punch for my leaves.

You can play along with us simply by making a card with butterflies and flowers on it. Remember, if you upload to PCP or SCS use the keyword: FBW so we can admire your work. Be sure that you visit the other Flutterby Wednesday designer's blogs and check out their beautiful creations. You can find the links on my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my blog. Please leave me a comment and let me know you were here. I love reading your comments!!

My Baby's First Anya/Ian!!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It's 70 degrees here in TN but the wind is blowing about 100 miles an hour. Ok, maybe not that fast but it is terribly windy. I hope it doesn't mean that we're going to have storms! I hope you're having a wonderful Saturday wherever you are.

I had to share something with everyone. My daughter, Brittany is 9 yrs. old and in the 3rd grade. She is incredibly smart (I know I'm her mom) but she really is. She reads on almost a 7th grade level!! I know she got that from me!! I love to read. She is also an incredibly talented little crafter as well. She also got that from me!! LOL You can see the cute little snowman she made in the post under this one. I thought it was the sweetest little thing ever.

So anywhoo, she asked me to print her some Anya's and Ian's so I did. She took them to her room. She brought me some cardstock and a piece of patterned paper out of my scrap box and asked me to straighten the edges and she came back out of her room with this card!! She loves to watch me color and she took her crayons and colored this adorable card.

I am so proud of her (I'm wiping a tear)!! I think she did a wonderful job! She told me that she shaded and colored them using circle motions and I almost cried!! Isn't it scary and amazing what our children pick up from us every day?

I thought you might enjoy seeing her creation. She was so proud that I put it on my blog!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Please leave me a comment and let me know you were here. I love to read your comments. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Princess Anya finds her prince??

Hi everyone!!

Happy Friday to you!! Wow, did this week fly by. I have to say that the snow we got was so beautiful. Today it went away. Now the ground looks messy and muddy!! It's funny how we can go from being 20 degrees one day and 60 degrees the next. No wonder our sinuses are dying!!! Brittany enjoyed the snow as well. Since we never get snow she is not very experienced with snowman building, but she built the cutest little snowman!! I took a picture of her with her wintery friend.

Today's card is Princess Anya from The Greeting Farm. She is so sweet with her pink gown with Shimmerz on her crown, dress and wand. The background stamp is from Alota Rubber Stamps and the frog is a Hero Arts stamp. I love this little scene. Princess Anya is standing outside the castle waiting for her prince and up hops this little frog. I stamped the building onto white cardstock. I stamped the frog and used pop dots to pop up the frog and Anya. I colored Anya, the frog and the castle with my copics. I used chalks to make the pretty blue sky. I punched the edges of the strips of paper to make it look like lace.

Sorry about the short post but I have to go work on some other projects. Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure you leave a comment so I know you were here.

Flutterby Wednesday is here again!!

Hi everyone!!

It's Flutterby Wednesday again and me and my flutterby sisters have some wonderful creations to share with you. Of course, we have to take care of business first! Our first order of business is to welcome our new flutterby stampers into our little family. Help me welcome the very talented Kristie and Jodi. Welcome ladies, your talent is amazing and we are so happy to have you on our team!! Be sure to stop by all of the Flutterby Wednesday blogs and leave some love. Our featured stamper this week is Michelle. Leave us some comments, we love to read them. Links are on my sidebar.

You know you can play along with us every week. All you have to do is make a card containing a butterfly and let us know you did! That's it! It's that simple. If you upload to a public gallery such as SCS or PCP, please use the tag FBW47 so we can find your beautiful creations even easier!

Today I used a beautiful Elisabeth Bell Sugar Nellie stamp called Raflective. These stamps are so beautiful. I got my butterfly from another Sugar Nellie stamp. I colored her with my Copics and today I combined Flutterby Wednesday and Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday sketch challenge MTT12 for my card. Two challenges with one card!! Gotta love that!! I hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it.

I like the Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday sketch because it gives a simpler layout that let's your image take center stage.

I used beautiful Daisy Bucket patterned paper and some Lil' Davis flowers that I've had in my stash for a while. I stamped the sentiment onto green cardstock and popped it up with pop dots for dimension.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I really appreciate you!! Please be sure to leave a comment so I know you were here!! Have a great day!

Miss Anya Gets Framed!!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I have to tell you that the 10 inches of snow that we got was so beautiful but was/is a travel nightmare!! I don't know how you guys handle all that heavy snow in areas that get a lot of snow each and every day during the winter months!! My hats off to you!! I've also had computer issues to deal with as well. Not a pretty weekend!

Now onto my card for today. I have a super cute Miss Anya card for you today. I colored Miss Anya from The Greeting Farm with my Copics. I used the really cute Making Memories Chloe's Closet paper line for this card. I think it suits Miss Anya really well don't you? I also used a Making Memories frame to perfectly frame our little cutie. I put some cute little flowers with pearl centers in the top of the frame. I love these color combinations too. Blue and yellow is one of my favorite color combinations. Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking at her as much as I enjoyed making her.

Have a great start to your week and be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I have for you. Be sure to leave me some love when you stop by so I know you were here. I love to read your comments!

Thanks for stopping by today.
