Your Next Stamp Challenge 3

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Wow, it's November already!! At Your Next Stamp, Simonne is challenging all of us to make a Christmas card or creation ...WITHOUT the colors red and green!

There are lots of non-traditional Christmas papers out there, so I'm sure you won't have any trouble resisting the urge to get out your green and red pens! In fact, over at Your Next Stamp, Karen has a whole host of Christmas crafty stash, including paper, card, buttons, brads, baubles, stamps (of course!), etc. View the complete range by clicking here.

As always, we have 2 fabulous prizes for you to win:

1. The challenge hostess, Simonne will choose her favorite card, and that winner will get the YNS Challenge Winner blinkie to proudly display on their blog.

2. We will randomly-choose one challenge entry to receive a YNS stamp set.

You must use a YNS stamp on your card or creation. Karen has launched some great new limited edition Christmas digi stamps, which you can buy instantly from the YNS store by clicking here I used this adorable Fhiona stamp for my card. I kept the design very simple and let my image be the focal point. I used some glttery snowflake paper by The Paper Studio, from my stash. I cut my image out using my nesties and I colored her with my copics. I colored in some ice underneath her and used Gossy Accents to make it shiny. I cut out my sentiment and colored over the words with my copics. Simple but fun!

To enter, follow the challenge and use a YNS stamp somewhere on your creation, post it on your blog or in your online gallery, and post the direct link to it using the Mr Linky widget on the challenge post. (Please do not post a general link to your blog or gallery, as this makes it more difficult for us to find your card - thanks!). If Mr Linky is not working, please post your link in the comments section on the blog post, and we will add it for you when the widget is back up and working. If you are posting your card to your SCS gallery, please use the keyword ynsc3 and then post a direct link to it in Mr Linky. Entries for challenge 3 close at midnight (EST) on Tuesday November 17th. So get out those non-tradional Christmas papers and get busy! You might be our lucky winner!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It means so much that you take time to stop and visit. Please leave me a comment so i know you were here! I'm still trying to play catch up with my blog hopping, so please be patient with me. I'll be around to visit you in the next few days.

YNS Challenge #2

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I am a Guest Designer for YNS for the next couple of months and I am loving it!! The team is so talented and easy to with and I love their fabby images!! This week's challenge is a Shape Card Challenge that Lana has for us! The only rule for our challenges is that you use a YNS stamp for your creation. Remember that YNS limited edition digital Halloween stamps are only available until Oct 31st so hop over to the Your Next Stamp Store and pick up your set today! The Starlets cards are really awesome so be sure to check out our challenge blog for some inspiration! Please also stop in on each Starlet and leave them some love!!

Be sure that you stop in and participate!! There are some great prizes over there. If you are looking for the winners of YNS Challenge #1 be sure to check the challenge blog for the list of winners on Thursday.

For my card, I used the Fhiona Loves to Skate set. She comes with lots of little snowflakes, birds, hearts, and a sentiment. She is a cutie!! I cut out a mitten shape for my card and used Basic Grey papers. I used a nestie to cut out my pretty eyelet circle in the center and used ribbon from my stash. I colored my image with copics, popped everything up on pop-dots and used Glossy Accents on my ice to give it that "frozen" shiny look. I also used it on her headband to make it look like plastic. I love these colors and this image is adorable. I'm happy with how this turned out!! I hope you are too!

I have also entered this card in the Creative Creations Challenge. Thank you for visiting my blog today!! I will have another post today so be sure to watch for that. Pleaae also leave me a comment so I know you were here. I'm sorry that I haven't visited as often as usual, but I have been bogged down with some serious piles of work to do. I'm working through it and should be back to a normal visiting schedule very soon.
