Clear Dollar Stamps Preview Today!!!

Hi Everyone!! I had to share this super cute stamp set that will be coming on January 1st. This super new Louby Loo set, Luvin' Ridley and Rosie will be available at Clear Dollar Stamps. Think of how many great Valentine's cards or treat boxes you can make with this set!

Be sure to check out some other sneak peeks from this set at these designers' blogs---
Wendy (Louby Loo)
as well as lots of other sneaks from the CDS Design team.... here.
Thanks for visiting my blog today. I feel like such a bad blogger. I apologize for not being around much in the last several days. The holidays are always hard for us because we lost my dad during the holidays very unexpectedly a few years back and this year we lost my favorite uncle. He is the man responsible for setting up my mom and dad for their first date...and the rest is history. My Mom is taking it very hard. We were all very close. It's hard for me to help her long distance as she lives is Louisiana but I've been doing my best. I hope to be back to full blogger strength very soon. There is just a lot of "stuff" going on and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and exhausted. But I'll be back soon to share some of the items I made for Christmas gifts. Have a great day.

Softpencil Thursday on Friday!!

Hi everyone, how is your week going? Mine is going relatively ok. I just wonder sometimes, why we don't get instruction manuals when we have our children!! Do you ever wonder that? If God had asked me if I wanted one, I would've said sure, absolutely. While I spent a day and half trying to give birth to my child, what's a couple more pushes to get out a manual?? Of course this manual would need to cover the emotional outbursts of your child to the complicated medical workings os them as well!! LOL Sometimes it's just a little overwhelming, that's all.
We've been passing this sinus junk around between the three of us for a month or so. So this past Fri. Brittany got it again. Of course since I have asthma, I immediately got it again too. My husband is pretty lucky. He usually dodges the bullet, so to speak. I get up to take her to school and we're going through the drop off line and she says"mommy I don't feel so good". Yeah, as most mothers know, this usually means a most icky situation is coming. LOL So I pull all the way though the line and back home. I was up all night last night with my own issues and was looking forward to taking a good nap when I dropped her off. Of course that didn't happen, so I'm just now (at 12:00 am) getting on my computer to post this and hopefully get right back to bed. I know we're fortunate to have a silly, sassy, spunky, healthy daughter. But sometimes, I just want to ask that question to see if anyone else would've been willing to give that couple of extra pushes to get that much needed manual!! LOL Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Ok, this week's Softpencil challenge was to use this adorable pink digi paper, tag and butterfuly stamp on our creation. Well, if you read or follow my blog at all, using pink is certainly not a stretch for me!!

This is my out of focus shot that shows the pretty pink Shimmerz on her wings!

I also wanted to let you know that the new Christmas Softpencil images are in!!! Boy are they cute! If you haven't seen them, check them out here! Don't forget to join us at our PCP weekly challenge for a chance to win Softpencil stamps! Please visit the other DT diva's blogs for more inspiration. Their links are on the side bar.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Happy Monday Everyone!!

Today is Christmas Stampin' All Year Long day, which means that we are going to be one more card closer to being done with our cards for this Christmas!! Yay!! I hope you'll play along with us this week. This week our fearless leader Maria has provided us with one of her fabby sketches to use.

For my card today I used this adorable Pink Cat Studio's Digi Stamp. Have you been to Melissa's new Digi Store?? If not you have to check it out!! She has the most adorable images. She has been making cuties out of 'rubbah' for a while and now she's doing some digi's!! I used my nesties to cut out my shapes and I colored my image with my copics. I used a glue pad and a Basic Grey stamp to stamp the pretty snowy flourish in the bottom left corner. I glittered it after I stamped it with the glue pad. IRL it looks really amazing!! My patterned paper is by Best Creation, Inc. and is glittered. I have had the worst time trying to photograph glittered or shimmery stuff lately. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to make it work!!

Be sure to visit the
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas have created. I also have them listed on my sidebar. Again, we'd love for you to play along. Just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Be sure to leave me a comment so I can return the favor! Don't forget to come by tomorrow to see what I have to show you. I have been a busy little bee lately!!

Brand New Nutshells-Must Have

Happy Monday Again!! This is my second post for today so please scroll down to see my first post!!

Unfortunately, we all know someone or have had our lives touched by someone with breast cancer. Maybe you're a survivor, in treatment or at high risk due to family genes. Whatever the connection is to this terrible disease, we must fight and never give up trying to find a cure. I want my daughter to grow up without the fear of breast cancer and I know you do too. I am so very excited and honored to present to you this wonderful digi stamp set from Nutshells. Please read on to find out how you can take part and score a majorly cute stamp set in the process!!

October in the US and the U.K is Breast Cancer Awareness month and to support this important event we have created a very special Digi stamp set. Pink Frosting will be available as a digital download from the beginning of October and is filled with lots of sweet images including a new Nutshell... Pecan! The full set will include two character images along with two cupcakes and a selection of cupcake toppers and sentiments. I will be previewing several projects that I have made using this adorable set. It is so fun to color and use. You will love it in your collection.

My card today uses the Making Memories Breast Cancer Awareness designer papers, flowers, brads from Eyelet Outlet, Memento ink and flocked floral lace by We R Memory Keepers. I cut my shapes with my nesties and I used my sewing machine to sew my patterned paper to the card. I also used some glitter on her cupcakes and a white gel pen to highlight the image after I colored it with my copics. I love these images!!! Wait til I show you the next one!!! You're going to love it!! My camera wants to distort the pink into more of a red but it is a pretty shade of fuschia not red.

We will be donating half of every download sold to a Breast Cancer Awareness charity, so please spread the word. Watch my blog for more peeks and details on the availability of these awesome stamps!! Thanks for coming by! Have a wonderful day!

It's Softpencil Thursday!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

Wow what a busy week!! I can't seem to stop running! Today is Softpencil Designs Thursday and I would like to you the digi-stamp called "Timmy and His Train" and two digital papers for printing. Isn't he the cutest thing!! I also have "Tommy and His Toys". Aren't they adorable? These images are now available at the Softpencil Etsy Store! I also think these fun patterned papers are just so cute and easy to use! I cut out some of the stars and popped them up on pop dots. I used the stripes and stars paper for my little boy cards. I used the SCS sketch #241 for my cards. I just turned one of the images! I colored my images with my copics.

I hope you like them! You can find them at Softpencil's Etsy Store along with the adorable papers that Elizabeth has to offer. I hope you'll go check it out! Thank you for stopping by today. I really appreciate you stopping by and I hope you'll leave me a comment so that I can return the favor!! I love seeing all of your creations! Have a wonderful day!
