We Love our Flutterby Wednesdays!!

I can't believe it's Flutterby Wednesday again!! Where does the time go??

Our challenge this week was to use a sketch, any sketch along with a fairy or butterfly on our project. Please be sure to identify the sketch that you use and give proper credit where it is due. Our featured stamper this week is Lelia. Be sure to stop by and give her some luv!! I believe the sketch I used for my card came from Magnolia-licious but I'm not sure. I previously used this card for Flutterby Wednesday but I re-posted it because I am using it for the Roses on Paper color challenge #13. The challenge is to use Pink, Yellow and Green on our cards. I picked it because it is one of my favorites and Summer is also having a GDT call for the new Belles n' Whistles stamps that she will be carrying soon. The Belles n' Whistles stamp line promises to be super cute and the Belles n' Whistles store will be opening in July. You know we love us some new stamps to play with!!! LOL

For my card this week, I used Doodlebug patterned paper and Bazzill and Bo Bunny cardstock. I also used this adorable new Magnolia stamp from the Chasing Butterflies collection that I got from Summer at Roses on Paper. Thanks Summer!! I think this image is just the sweetest!

I colored my image with my copics, painted on some Shimmerz and used a white Inkessentials gel pen for detail. I also cut my yellow and pink dotted (Bo Bunny) cardstock with my nesties. I cut out my image and popped it up with pop dots. I also used pop dots on my yellow cardstock. I embossed the yellow piece with my Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked the edges with pink ink.

My sentiment is a Sugar Nellie stamp. I inked the edges of my sentiment, put a tiny little Prima flower in the center along with a tiny jewel. I put some yellow flowers on my card that I had in my stash. I inked the edges with pink ink and put a little bit of Stickles on the "pearl" in the center. I cut a small flourish with my Sizzix Sizzlet die and put it around the flowers. I used Stickles to add some bling to them and make them pop. IRL they are super glittery!

This was a really great challenge. We'd love to see you play along this week! The challenge this week is to use a sketch, any sketch along with a fairy or butterfly on your project. Please be sure to identify the sketch that you use and give proper credit where it is due.

Remember, it must include a butterfly or fairy. If you post to SCS or PCP be sure to use the keyword FBW so that we can find your beautiful creations. Be sure to visit Danni's blog to see any other details. Be sure to check my sidebar and visit the other Flutterby divas to see their wonderful creations.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I love reading your comments, they mean so much to me!! Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I have made to show you!! Have a wonderful day!

I colored my image with my copics, painted on some Shimmerz and used a white Inkessentials gel pen that I got from my good friend, Susana over at Susana's Custom Art and Card Designs. I also cut my yellow and pink dotted (Bo Bunny) cardstock with my nesties that I also got from Susana. If you haven't been to her store, you have to go. She has the most amazing selection of all things paper crafting including copics and nesties. She also carries some of the cutest stamps out there!! I cut out my image and popped it up with pop dots. I also used pop dots on my yellow cardstock. I embossed the yellow piece with my Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked the edges with pink ink.

It's an InStyle Tuesday!!

Happy Tuesday!! The weather here is beautiful and I wanted to do a quick post to share a

cute card that I made using InStyle Stamps Anime image Daisy. Even though my picture is not the greatest (I couldn't get her hair to show up correctly), isn't she still the cutest ever? These images are so versatile and fun to use. You could use her for birthdays, get well, congrats, thinking of you, thanks, you get the picture! She's perfect for any occasion.

All of the supplies that I used are Bo Bunny, except the Dew Drops. I cut Daisy out with my Spellbinders Nesties that I got at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. She has an amazing selection of all the new stuff, so go take a look!! I colored Daisy with my copics and used my Inkssentials white gel pen, also from Susana's, for some subtle highlights.

A simple card design that lets my image take center stage. You gotta love that!! For the inside, I simply cut some of my DP and used it in the corners to make a frame of sorts for my sentiment which is an Inkadinkado stamp. I hope you enjoy my card. I'm glad you stopped by to visit and I hope you'll leave me a comment. I love reading your comments, they mean so much! Come back again tomorrow and see what I have to show you!!

Happy Flutterby Wednesday!!

Hi everyone!!

It's Flutterby Wednesday again and our challenge this week was to use red, white and blue along with a fairy or butterfly. It was really hard for me to picture fairies or butterflies with red, white and blue, but I managed to pull it off!! Our featured stamper this week is Nancy. You should play along with us and be sure that if you upload to PCP or SCS that you use FBW in your keywords so we can see your beautiful creations.

You can go to Danni's blog for more in-depth details. For my card today I used the Mojo Monday Sketch 84. I used Enchanted Lily from Pink Cat Studios. I love this image!! She's so cute and cheerful!! I used Paper Loft paper and Bazzill cardstock. I cut my sentiment out with my nesties. I inked the edge with red ink for definition and tied ribbon through the top. I popped it up with pop dots for dimension.

I stamped Lily with Memento ink and colored her with my copics. I used a white gel pen to add highlights. I painted her wings with Shimmerz. You can find Memento ink, copics, Shimmerz and white gel pen at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. She has a fabulous selection of stamping accessories and her rubber stamps are adorable. You should visit her and see what you can find. There's something for everyone.

Sorry about the short post but my pain meds are wearing off and I need to go sit comforably. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate you. Be sure to leave me a comment so I know you were here!! Hugs to you all and have a great day!

It's an InSyle Saturday!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Are you ready for Easter, 'cause the Easter Bunny comes tonight!! Maybe he'll leave some stamping goodies for us?? Ok, a girl can dream can't she?? I really hope he brings us a cure for the stomach virus that my daughter has. I'm running on no sleep for a couple of days now. It's not pretty!!!

What is pretty though is that I have a cute card that I made using InStyle Stamps Anime image Lizzie. Isn't she the cutest? I left the sentiment off the front of the card but you could use her for birthdays, get well, congrats, thinking of you, thanks, you get the picture! She's perfect for any occasion.

I used some super yummy paper from Daisy Bucket, with Bazzill cardstock. I cut Lizzie out with my new Spellbinders Nestie that I got at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. She has an amazing selection of all the new stuff, so go take a look!! I colored Lizzie with my copics and used my Inkssentials white gel pen, also from Susana's, for some subtle highlights. I used ribbon and Hero Arts flowers that I dyed to match my image and some sparkle brads.

A simple card design that lets my image take center stage. I love that!! For the inside, I simply cut some of my DP and used it at the top and bottom of the insert. I hope you enjoy my card. I'm glad you stopped by to visit and be sure and come back again tomorrow if you can.

I'll have MY VERY FIRST sneak peek of a new release stamp from InStyle Stamps!!! You won't want to miss it!! Happy Easter and have a wonderful evening!

Flutterby Wednesday

Happy Wednesday to you!! I hope your week is going well. I'm glad you stopped by because it's Flutterby Wednesday!! It is also a no challenge FBW so we were free to create anyway we like!!

This week our guest designer is the super talented Lynn Put from The Queen's Scene . Welcome Lynn!! I also have exciting news to share!! This is the first week you can use fairies or butterflies for our challenges!! Yay!! Our featured team member this week is also a super talented lady, Cassie!!

I chose to use the SCS sketch from last week, SC222. I love this sketch because it is simple and let's your image take center stage. It was perfect for this adorable Sugar Nellie stamp, Maggie with Flowers. How cute is she? I added a couple of butterflies from Penny Black and Our Craft Lounge so she would qualify for the challenge.

I used Imaginesce paper and Bazzill cardstock. I cut the patterned paper and machine stitched it to the card front. I stamped Maggie onto white cardstock with Memento ink. I colored her with my copics and popped her off the card with pop dots. I used a white Inkssentials gel pen for highlights. I added Dew Drops in the four corners for a little something extra. You can find the white gel pen and some great Copic bundles at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design along with a huge selection of other stamping supplies.

We would love for you to play along with us. If you upload to PCP or SCS be sure to use FBW in your keyword box so we can find your lovely creation.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Be sure that you stop by the other Flutterby girls' blogs and look at their creations for the week. You can find their links on my sidebar.

Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!!

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Good Morning!! I want to thank you all for the kind words and support as I heal my poor eyes from their terrible dryness!! Wow, they really hurt when they are that dry. I can't believe I have tiny little cuts on them. Eww!! So be sure to use artificial tears if you're eyes are dry! Ok, that's my public safety announcement for today!!

It's Monday, and that means that it's time to share another Christmas card!! At Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, we create Christmas cards every Monday. By the time November rolls around, we'll have a whole bunch of Christmas cards ready to send out!! That spells out a lot of stress relief for me! Our fabulous leader, Maria has created another super sketch for us to use. This will be sketch #11. This is a great sketch.

I flipped the sketch to fit my stamped image. I used a Stampendous stamp for my image. I stamped it with Memento ink and colored it in with my Copics. Did you know that Susana's Custom Art & Card Design carries Memento ink and Copic bundles? Be sure to check it out. I used Die Cuts with a View paper and Bazzill cardstock. I used Colorbox ink to ink around my main image. I used my circle nestie to cut out the scalloped circle that I tied my ribbon through. Susana's also has a huge selection of Spellbinder Nestabilities dies. I discovered a huge selection of them while I was looking for some other supplies. Of course I had to place an order!!! I couldn't just pretend they weren't there!!

This is the funky no flash view that shows where I painted my image with Shimmerz. IRL the Shimmerz looks great. You can also load up on Shimmerz at Susana's in lots of different colors.

Be sure to visit the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog to see what the other challenge divas created. I also have them listed on my sidebar. We'd love for you to play along, just leave a comment and a link to your creation on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog or if you upload to SCS or PCP, use the keyword CSAYL.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to come by tomorrow to see what fabulous creation I have for you. See you tomorrow!

Cathrine Visits the Islands

Happy Thursday!!
The card I have today is the card I made for the sketch challenge over at Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design. This was a fun challenge with a tropical twist. Susana has the most awesome store on the planet. You should visit if you haven't already been there.

I decided to use the lovely Cathrine with Butterfly stamp from the Anki's Sweethearts line from Susana's. I replaced the butterfly she was holding with a colorful parrot by Jolee's. I also added a flower to her hat.

I also added some flowers, ribbon, brads and spacers and it turned into this cute card!! I cut Cathrine out with my nesties of course. How did we live before these were invented??? I colored her with my Copics and added highlights with my white gel pen. How did we live before Copics were invented??? Hmmmmm, I don't know!! LOL!

I hope you like my colorful card and I thank each of you for stopping by my blog today. I feel blessed to have you come by. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I've made for you to see! I'll see you then!
