It's Flutterby Wednesday again and our challenge for this week is to use blues and purples on our cards. You can play along with us by simply making a butterfly card using blues and purples and let us know that you did by tagging your PCP or SCS gallery entries with FBW45. Now onto my card!! I made my card this week using a Stampin Up set called Merci. This is a cute set with an adorable sketch butterfly. I kept my card simple so that this image would really stand out since I stamped it in a lovely purple ink. I used Three Bugs in a Rug DP in really pretty purples and teal blues. I cut our my butterfly with my square nesties and inked some Hero Arts flowers with the same purple ink I used to stamp my butterfly and sentiment. I used blue dew drops in the centers of the flowers and on my sentiment block as well. I made a slit in the spine of my card and tied the pretty blue and brown ribbon on to finish off my card.
