Nutshell's Challenge #22

Hi Everyone!!

I'm back for the Nutshell's Challenge #22. The challenge is a free choice (make whatever you like, as long as you use stamps that we carry in our store), so I decided to bring back one of my very favorite designs and stamps (Hazel with apple). I dedicate it to my daughter as she started school yesterday. Where do the years go??

In the meantime, remember you must use ANY stamp that we carry in our Nutcrafter's store to qualify for the prize!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafter's and see our selection of stamps.All you have to do is make your creation and leave a link in the comment section of today's post with a direct link to your project, not your blog, your project prior to August 25th (this is a two week challenge).

Remember, if you post to an online gallery such as SCS, PCP, etc. please use the keyword: NNW22 but also leave us a comment on this post on the Nutshell's website with your link. This makes it much easier for us to find your creations!!

Hi Everyone!!

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm still alive!! I've been sidelined with a torn meniscus in my knee, discovering a blood clotting problem and then to top it all off...I had a car accident and totalled my car. Luckily, Brittany and I are ok. Real life has given me a swift kick in the you know what!! But I'm trying to get myself together so I can play again. I miss you all terribly and hope you are doing well. Please don't give up on me!! I'll be back soon I hope. We're trying to arrange my crafting area so that I can get my leg brace in and out without kicking everything over!!

Hugs to you all and I'll talk to you soon. Leave me some love, I could really use it!

Nutshell's Challenge #13

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are having some enjoyable Spring-like weather wherever you are. Real life continues to challenge me!! LOL I guess that's what it's supposed to do!! I pulled a tendon in my knee and I'm stuck in this knee brace for an undetermined amount of time. There is a possibility that there is a small tear in the tendon under the kneecap. This is so hard to navigate with!! Getting in and out of the car is a pain. I also can't sit at my computer or craft table except for very small amounts of time. I have to spend a lot of time in the recliner with my leg up. I'm a go, go, go person so this feels like prison!! LOL But things could be worse, so I'll wear it and get over it...eventually!

It's time for our Nutshell's Challenge #13. We have some super prizes to give away this challenge, so be sure to get your entries in!!
Challenge #13 is to make a shaped card (anything other than a square or rectangle). That's it!! How simple is that?

Happy Tuesday everyone. I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity for you over at the Nutcrafter's and Nutshell's blog.

It is that time again and we are looking for some new crafter's to join our team.
We are hoping to snag ourselves a full time DT member and a couple of Guest DT members too, this time though we are shaking things up!
We have a free image for everyone to use on their submissions and a bonus set of complimentary images FREE for everyone who enters.












Our crazy Tea party images have been created especially for this challenge, as this week we are celebrating Colette's wedding with a fun & fantastic 'Mad Hatters Tea Party'.
So if you would like to try out for our DT (and we hope that you do) simply save that Hatter image, create a wonderful card/project with it and link it back to us in the comments below this post with your email address. Alternatively you can email us with your cards at enquiries@nutcrafters.com

Our DT call is open until next Sunday, 4th April, 12pm UK time, and the free images will be sent once the DT call has finished.

DT requirements: Our main DT ask is that apart from enjoying our stamps and having fun using them, we require 1 card each week to be created, photographed and sent to us for use on our blog and challenge blog. Nutshell's Challenge #12

Challenge #12 is to make something Easter/Spring. That's it!! How simple is that? So I decided to make a seed packet holder for a friend. Nothing says Spring like a few packets of seeds to get things started, right?

Nutshell's Challenge #11

Happy Wednesday and St. Patrick's Day everyone! It's time for Nutty Nutshell's Challenge #11!!! I'm a week late with our challenge post. I have had computer failure and RL issues as well. You don't realize how badly you miss your PC until you don't have one!!! Anyway, we're going to go ahead and do the challenge this week and you will have until March 20 to get your entries in. There will be a new challenge on March 21.

This week we're doing a Sketch Challenge. We are using a sketch by the lovely Maria at Stamping Inspirations. She has given me permission to use one of her sketches for our challenge. The link to her blog is http://stampininspirations.blogspot.com/. She does amazing projects.

I used Luna Cupcake Fairy for my card. She is part of the new release Cutie Pie Collection. She is so sweet and cute. I love her! She looks good in green for St. Patty's Day don't you think? I colored my image with my copics and used glitter to add a little sparkle to my card. I used pop dots for dimension (even though you can't see them!!

I was able to enter my card into a few challenges!! Yay!!
